FRP(Fiber-Reinfroced Plastic) Material The selections of resin and fiberglass are based on fabric compatibility, service conditions, and the desired characteristics of the finished part. 1. Gel Coats: Gel Coats are special polyester resins which are used on part surfaces. We apply the gel coats on all of our FRP products to improve surface appearance and bonding. 2. Resin: We chose the high strength, high impact resistance polyester resin to make stronger products. 3. Fiberglass: Good quality cloth and mats are relatively lightweight, high tensile and compressive strenght.
The Fabrication Process The fabrication process on our parts are same to the steps followed in making the mold. A reinforced sandwich core construction is built on every FRP parts. Each layer is saturated and compact as much as possible to achieve the best result.
Preheated FRP Products All of our FRP products have been preheated with 140 degree F(60 degree C) for a suitable of time. So, it will always be a stable condition and quility. We suggest our customer set up a lower tempreature and short time to baking the products when it needed. Don't over heat the FRP products.
